Vulnerable children are being put at risk due to the imbalance of high workloads and staffing shortages. Up and down the UK, we are seeing social workers who are too busy juggling caseloads to build effective relationships with the children under their provision.
What is the solution then? Could working with various agencies help local authorities better manage caseloads?
In most cases we’ve seen - and we’ve seen a lot, the answer to the above is yes.
Take for instance, our most recent support programme, which went live on Monday, 9 January.
Imperium Solutions’ worked in collaboration with a London borough to support their children’s directorate, providing additional capacity in managing the flow through of caseloads subject to care proceedings.
Using our vast network of experienced practitioners, we deployed two team managers and ten social workers who will join as an extension to the establishment workforce. They will work in tandem to ensure the partnership achieves continuity and positive outcomes for the children and families we serve.
We are proud to share that our transformation solutions have helped local councils across the country to find new ways to support service users and ensure they are receiving the best quality care and enjoying the most positive outcomes as a result.
